All the food here is expertly
prepared by our wonderfully talented Restaurant Team. Again and
again they manage to amaze us with their delightfully tasty,
mouthwateringly fresh recipes. Our menu has a range of
traditional Indian, and especially Keralan, dishes, giving our
guests a huge choice of flavours to sample.
Every day, we find it astonishing how such beautifully
presented, wonderful tasting food can materialize out of our
seemingly modest kitchen. Thanks to The Restaurant Team, the
culinary part of your stay with us is sure to be a truly
scrumptious adventure!
Our vegetables, fruit and herbs are plucked straight from our
very own gardens whenever possible and our daily fish and
seafood catch comes directly from the fishermen based on our
beach. You will often hear them pulling in the heavy nets with
their rhythmic chanting, so they can sell the fish to our chef
who then cooks it for you. It’s a pretty special experience to
watch the fishermen working to bring in tonight’s dinner!
We have regular entertainment nights at the restaurant which
include various traditional Keralan performances by local
dancers and musicians. These nights are colourful, playful and
usually give us an insight into the many cultural customs of the
area.
We’d also like to add that our traditional Indian dishes can be
made double or even triple spicy and equally very mild –
whatever your tastes, we’ll be happy to cater for them. We also
have a selection of western style dishes for those who prefer
this option, but of course we strongly recommend local fare as
part of the true India experience!
Our menu also has a kid’s section for children who aren’t too
keen on Indian food but all our dishes can be made very mild for
them on request. In addition to this, we have a mostly western
desert menu which is full of sinful treats for those who wish to
indulge, and also healthy Indian and western alternatives for
those who are on a health boost. |
