LOCAL CULTURE & CUISINE
Kerala is known as 'The Land of Spices' and produces some of the tastiest foods on the planet, with almost every dish prepared with coconut and spices to flavour.
The Bethsaida restaurant offers a variation of Indian, mostly Kerala dishes - all expertly prepared by our talented restaurant team who make use of fruit and vegetables grown in our own garden. Our seafood delicacies are prepared with fish caught by local fishermen, and during the season from October to April you can observe a really fascinating sight: the fishermen singing while pulling their nets.
According to your taste-buds we can prepare your meal to be more or less spicy. For guests taking Ayurvedic treatments, we prepare the Ayurvedic menu developed by our doctors according to doshas. Depending on the goals and objectives of your program, the doctors may prescribe a special diet.
Our à la carte menu has a great selection of Western dishes if you're after a taste of home, but we recommend trying the local colorful cuisine. If our guests are not ready to experiment with spices, we prepare meals on request.
Cooking one of your favorite dishes with our chef is a unique experience, and can be booked by going to the chef directly to schedule a time for the master-class. This interesting and useful lesson will give you the ability to use the recipes for your diet at home.
